Bon Jovi - “It’s My Life”

I looooooved this song back when it came out. And I’m not gonna lie — I still love it.

But it’s a terrible song. Bon Jovi never had a reputation as hardcore rockers (or did they? pretty sure they didn’t), but this song destroys any notion of hardcoreness (I know that’s not a word). In fact, any song with the words/message “It’s my life” pretty much throws your credibility out the window.

I’m willing to put up with it, though, because I can’t deny those catchy, distorted BOW-WOW sounds. Makes me wish I had some ’80s hair to swing around.
