Deep Blue Something - “Breakfast at Tiffany’s

I was already annoyed with every girl in school who thought she was Audrey Hepburn. Then this song came out, and suddenly they had a song to go along with their dreamy, unrealistic fantasies.

That in itself makes it an awful pop song. But you’ve also got the lyrics, which proclaim about the movie, “I think we both kinda liked it.” I always thought it was kinda clever that they only “kinda liked it” as opposed to loving it (because I have a feeling I would only kinda like it if I ever saw it). Most people, however, seem to agree that those are pretty terrible lyrics.
