Plain White T’s - “Hey There Delilah”

Yuck yuck yuck. This song was so overplayed when it was popular that I wanted to die every time I heard it.

But it’s also a really pretty, sweet love song! This guy’s totally in love with Delilah!

But Delilah’s a real person, and it turns out she never loved the guy who’s singing. She barely knows him. That makes this a creepy love song, and I feel sorry for Delilah having to deal with the world hearing all about her in this stupid song. Seriously. Could you imagine turning on the radio and here someone you barely know singing about you every day? No thanks.
