BBMak - “Out of My Heart”

BBMak is probably my favorite of the moderately-successful, totally awful boy bands from the early 2000s.

“Ghost of You and Me” is definitely their best song, but this track comes in a close second because of lines like “As the sun goes down, wakin’ up my dreams.” I can only imagine what that’s supposed to mean.

Can you imagine a group of guys hearing this song and/or writing it themselves and actually thinking, “Yeah, this is totally awesome. Completely badass”?

BBMak - “Ghost of You and Me”

Sometimes, in posting a song on this blog, I’m reminded of just how much I love said song. This is one of those times.

I was totally prepared to rip into this cheesetastic track and declare how horrible it is… Until I listened to it and was instantly transported back to high school. I refuse to deny my love for this song, in spite of how terrible it may or may not be.
