Cher - “Song for the Lonely”

Aw, all the lonely fat girls and boys finally have an anthem to sing along to. OK, that was a little mean, but when you say “This is a song for the lonely,” fat girls come to mind. And all the gay boys that love Cher and spend their free time listening to Cher while wallowing in self-pity. So, basically, this song says “Suck it up, bitches.”

Moving on… I thought this video was soooooo cool when it came out. “Look, the buildings are magically being built!” And, “Look, Cher’s wearing a black wig this time!” Looking back, I think maybe my love for this song was my inner homo trying to get out at an early age. Now I can fully embrace my love for this song and all things Cher-like ;)
