Fountains of Wayne - “Stacy’s Mom”

Let’s get one thing straight: I still hate this song. But for a brief window of time in 2003, I liked it a lot because it’s so goddamned terrible.

I mean, seriously… A song about cougar hunting? And a video that features nasty-ass ’80s fashion, a porn star, jailbait kid actors, and an ending that references “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”? What’s not to love?
