Hampton and the Hampsters - “Hampsterdance”

If you were on the Internet in the late 1990s, chances are you’re familiar with the Hampsterdance, a page filled with animated GIFs of hamsters dancing to this ridiculous song.

This is an updated, longer mix of the original track. It appeared on a CD by Hampton and the Hampsters, and yes, I had the whole CD. It was an entire CD filled with squeaky hamster voices singing dance-pop songs. I might have loved it a little bit. I don’t think I even have it anymore, thank god.

But you know what’s even more annoying than this song? The fact that “hamster” is fucking misspelled. Drives me nuts.
