Janet Jackson - “Feedback”

I love this song so much. In fact, it’s one of the top-played song on my computer because it’s just that amazing.

It’s got an insanely great beat and really weird lyrics (“I’m heavy like a first-day period”). What more could you possibly need?

Just try listening to this song and not dancing — especially if there’s a dancefloor around.

Janet Jackson - “Someone To Call My Lover”

My favorite part of this song is definitely the lines “Maybe we’ll meet in a bar/ He’ll drive a funky car.” I can totally relate to this — I refuse to get down with anyone unless they drive a funky car.

I’ve pretty much loved this song since the first time I heard her sing those deep-from-the-soul lyrics. Also, I really, really, really love the bridge. Not sure why. I just do.
