John Mayer - “Your Body is a Wonderland”

This is my least favorite John Mayer song of all time. I don’t really know why. Maybe it’s because it’s super gross. I don’t want to hear about him and his girlfriend swimming in a “deep sea of blankets.” I also don’t want to hear him describe her tongue as bubble gum or tell her that she’d better break all her plans because “this is bound to be a while.”

Basically, I’d rather not spend three minutes of my life listening to John Mayer fuck-sing someone.

Other than that, I generally like John Mayer :)

John Mayer - “No Such Thing”

John Mayer might be known for his lyrical genius and flawless guitar skills now, but this song is little indication of those talents.

As much as I love the song, I can totally admit to myself and others that the whole “I hated high school and I’m so much cooler now” notion is so worn-out and so cliché. Hell, it’s so cliché that calling it cliché is cliché.
