If you’ve ever wondered whether or not Lindsay actually has any vocal ability, the only thing you need to do is watch a video of her trying to sing this song live. That’ll put your curiosity to rest.
I won’t let that get in the way of me loving this song, though. I don’t care if she can sing; all I care about is that she can put out a deliciously earsplitting piece of pop music. And she can. And I love it. All of it.
The lyrics are clever enough to avoid being predictable — for some reason I love the line about “my tears are turning into time/ I’ve wasted to trying to find/ a reason for goodbye” — even if they’re still 100% ridiculous :)
♥ | 191 playsAw, the good old days… Back when Lindsay had her shit together. I totally fell in love with this song when it came out (despite the fact that she’s essentially complaining about being famous), and I still love it. Only now it’s easier to see that this was just a prelude to her trainwreck of a life.
Clearly, though, based on my taste in entertainment, I’ll enjoy awful pop music regardless of whether it comes from a Hollywood trainwreck or not, so keep it comin’ Lindsay. I can’t get enough of your coke-fueled masterpieces ;) ♥
P.S. Isn’t it ridiculous how hot she was back then? Don’t do drugs, kids!
Lindsay Lohan - “Confessions of a Broken Heart”
Ooh, look at all the metaphors and symbolism! Deeeeeeep. I didn’t really like Lindsay as a blonde, but she looks really good in this video (before she started doing coke, I guess).
But could this video get any more punch-you-in-the-face literal? They might as well have taped Lindsay and her actual family crying. There’s absolutely no ruse of fiction here. Ridiculous. How can you complain about being in the spotlight and then lay it all out there like that?
Seriously, though, I pretty much love this song. Basically, I’ll listen to anything Lindsay sings, regardless of what it is.
Ali Lohan - “All the Way Around”
I’m a sucker for just about anything with the name Lohan attached, and this shiny turd is no different.
I seriously doubt that Ali Lohan has any musical talent, but this song is so damn catchy, and there’s just something about her voice, that I had this song on constant repeat during summer ‘08. I’m willing to admit that.
And if she came out with any more songs, I’d probably listen to those, too. And yes, that’s a challenge, Ali.

Oh god… I love this song. So much.
And I really shouldn’t. Because… Wait… There’s nothing wrong with this song. It’s perfect. Mozart would be jealous he didn’t think of it first.
It’s such a great, dizzy electro-dance-pop song. Also, it just gets better and better the less sober you are. Believe me :D
